Estonia has a rich maritime history since the early Viking days.  In 19th century Bellingshausen, Kotzebue, Wrangle and several others, who all had their roots in Estonia, explored the distant seas and lands.  Now many historic ships participate in Tallinn Maritime Days every year.  On this picture the Polish brig-rigged sailing ship Frederic Chopin enters the Tallinn’s old harbor.
