Busy clouds born from turbulent winds dance over Mount Waddington. Much of the time, however, the winds blow in from the Pacific, rising over the mountains, and swirl with cold fog and snow squalls. The Canadian Rockies, so familiar, so well traveled, needs places like this Coast Range. Otherwise, we might fool ourselves into believing that the world is easy.
